Paul Albert Heiss

Paul Albert Heiss,91, of Tiffin, OH, formerly of Chillicothe OH, passed away on September 17, 2018 at the Elmwood at the Shawhan of Tiffin, OH.

He was born on January 1, 1927 in Chillicothe to the late George and Ella (LeBeau) Heiss. He married his wife Anne Marie Neufeld in 1948, who preceded him in death on November 12, 2009.

Survivors include his daughter Phyllis (James) Stoneburner of Fort Myers, FL; two grandchildren, Lisa (Todd) Young of Tiffin, OH and Christina Stoneburner of Morris Plains, NJ; three great-grandchildren, Adam, Lindsay, and Anne Young and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his nine siblings, Inez Chauncey, Louis Heiss, Charles Heiss, George Heiss, Harriet Downes, Virgil Heiss, Glenn Heiss, Richard Heiss and Lawrence Heiss.

Paul served in the US Army from 1945 – 1948 during World War II.  During his tour in Germany he met his wife Anne Marie Neufeld.

He loved living in Chillicothe and being with his family and friends and gardening. He will be dearly missed.

Private Services will be held later.
