Rexford W. Huffman, Jr.

Rexford W. “Rex” Huffman, Jr. 69, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.

He was born on August 16, 1951, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Rexford, Sr. and Grace (Jackson) Huffman.  On August 24, 1971, he married Vicki Spaun.

Survivors include his mother, Grace Huffman of Tiffin; wife, Vicki Huffman of Tiffin; sons, Rex (Sue) Huffman, III of Carey and Jason (Deb Bailey) Huffman of Tiffin; daughter, Amy (Dave Fultz) Thallman of Tiffin; brothers, Ken Huffman of Tiffin and Scott (Terry) Huffman of Republic; sisters, Patricia Steyer, Bonnie (Greg) Ramirez, June (Dave) Wiese, Joyce (Ron) Randell, all of Tiffin and Wendy (Roger) DePew of Genoa; seven grandchildren, Natasha (Jake) Huffman of Perrysburg, Devon Huffman and Levi (Dayna) Huffman, both of Carey; Ciera Huffman of Tiffin, Gage Thallman of Toledo, Garrett Thallman and Gracie Thallman, both of Tiffin; great grandson, Bryson Huffman and his favorite aunt and uncle; Don and Irene Schueler of Tiffin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rexford Huffman, Sr.; sister, LuAnn Arter; and two infant sisters.

Rex graduated in 1970 from Mohawk High School, served in the National Guard from 1970 to 1976 and worked on the production line at Tiffin Metal.   In his younger years, Rex enjoyed hunting and fishing. Rex loved his favorite black cat, Puma and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

His graveside service will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Greenlawn Cemetery with military honors being conducted by the United Veterans Council.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, F.A.C.T. or to Tiffin Cancer Center.
