Obituary
Richard Arlen Kieffer, 94, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 02, 2023 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
He was born on February 05, 1929, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Raymond and Naomi (Tune) Kieffer. On July 11, 1952, he married Jeanne M. Bour and she preceded him in death on January 08, 2018.
Survivors include his son, Michael Kieffer of Tiffin; daughter, Julie (Larry) Haferd of Carey; five grandchildren, Jason Haferd, Nathan (Haley) Haferd, Joshua Haferd, Michelle (Jason) Brandt and Clinton (Nathalia) Kieffer; and two great grandchildren, Jayda Brandt and Maddox Brandt.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Kieffer; and sisters, Virginia Creeger, Phyllis Kieffer, Mary Fisher and Ethel Warner.
Richard was a 1948 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and served as Sergeant First Class in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked at Lee’s Floor Coverings for 20 years and was a carpenter for Zeis Builders, retiring after 15 years. Richard enjoyed wintering in Cape Coral, FL for 15 years, gardening, fishing and boating on Lake Erie.
There will not be any services at this time.
