Ronald “RB” E. Black, 72, of Tiffin, passed away Friday evening, June 18, 2021 at St. Francis Home.
He was born on May 31, 1949, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Doyle and Mary (Buccione) Black. He married Sandra Morris in 1969 and preceded in death in 1979, later married Linda Slayer in 1980 and they later divorced, and later married Marie Zimmerman in 2018.
Survivors include his wife Marie Black of Tiffin; sons, Jason (Patricia) Black of Findlay and Ryan Black of Arlington, OH.; daughter, Marchelle (Chris) Fitch of Fortworth, TX.; bonus son, Matthew (Christy) Zimmerman of Fremont; grandchildren, Taylor, Noah Fitch, Lucus, Kayla Black; and bonus grandchildren, Taylor Zimmerman, Emma, and Brady Arendorf.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Barbara “Barbie” A. Black
Ronald was a member of Hayes Memorial United Methodist Church in Fremont, and he graduated from Tiffin Columbian Class of 1967. He enjoyed fixing up old trucks. He spent 8 years working on a 1989 Chevy Pickup. When he was not fixing up old cars, he enjoyed Gardening. He had an 8-year-old Pixie dog that he rescued. They enjoyed taking mile walks together each day.
His funeral service will be at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419)447-2424, with Rev. Joshua Wynn and Jenni Miller and with military honors to follow
Friends may visit with family from 12:00 P.M. until time of the service on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the funeral home.
