Sally Moyer Obituary

Sally L. Moyer, 93, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on December 10, 1928, in Tiffin, Ohio, to George and Myrtlebelle (Snyder) Siegrist.  On October 25, 1947, she married Donald J. Moyer and he preceded her in death on March 15, 2001.

She is survived by her sons, Jacob L. (Patricia) Moyer and Daniel N. (Linda) Moyer, both of Tiffin; three grandchildren, Kyle, Erin and Alex; and five great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jacob, Jonah, Selah and Parker.

Sally was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Siegrist, Jr; and her dog, Frisbee.

Sally was a 1947 graduate of Columbian High School.  She owned Sally’s Soup and Such on Madison Street and worked at Meyer Drug, Tiffin Developmental Center and the Hello Shop.  She was a member of Second United Church of Christ where she sang in the choir and was very active.  Sally enjoyed flowers, gardening, walking and was caring, giving, loving, a caregiver to her family and a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

A private graveside service was held at Greenlawn Cemetery.
