Shirley Nepper, 85, formerly of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Joshua Tree Care Center in North Olmsted.
She was born on February 20, 1935, in Findlay, Ohio to Harry V. and Norma (Davis) Bonnell.
Survivors include her grandchildren Katie (Dan) Mossbruger, Alexis O’Donnell of Tallahassee, FL, Mallory O’Donnell of Jacksonville, FL, and two great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughters, Debora Wyka, Kay O’Donnell, and Mary Nepper.
Shirley graduated in 1953 from Tiffin Columbian High School. She worked at Ohio Power before taking a position at Tiffin Mercy Hospital. She worked there for 27 years in admitting and registration, as well the switch board operator, before retiring in 2000. She also spent time as a Girl Scout Leader and Sunday School Teacher at First Lutheran and Washington Street United Methodist Church. She was happiest in her yard, surrounded by her flowers and animals, as well as enjoying painting and crafts.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Clayton Bailey officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria.
