Suzette Clouse, 68, of New Riegel, passed away on Saturday morning, March 12, 2022 at her home.
She was born on March 27, 1953, in La Crosse Kansas, to John J. and Doris A. (Straight) Morrone. On November 3, 1973, in St. Boniface Catholic Church, she married Edward F. Clouse.
Survivors include her husband Edward F. Clouse of New Riegel; sons, Ryan (Toni) Clouse of New Riegel and Aaron (Amy) Clouse of Elmore; daughter, Jacqueline (Andy) Wise of New Riegel; sisters, Melissa (Richard) DeMoss of New Riegel and Camille (George) Wolph of Fostoria; and nine grandchildren, Easton Clouse, Tanner Clouse, Drew Bertz, Lexi Bertz, Avery Clouse, Adelyn Clouse, Amelia Clouse, Thomas Wise and Lucas Wise. She was loved by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Doris Morrone; father-in-law, Harold Clouse; mother-in-law, Mary Agnes Clouse; sister, Annette Eyer; brother-in-law, Jim Stewart; sister-in-law, Susan Stewart; brother-in-law, Jim Seifert.
Suzette was a 1971 graduate of New Riegel High School. She worked as the office administrator and laborer for Clouse’s Service Center for 37 years. She served multiple terms as a board member for New Riegel Local School where she played an integral role in the development and construction of the K-12 campus. She was a passionate sports fan and was a constant at local sporting events. She was especially devoted to sporting events involving her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching the Steelers, Buckeyes and her beloved New York Yankees. She loved spending time with family and friends at the family pond.
Her Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at All Saints Parish, New Riegel with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 15 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.
