Vince graduated from Jackson Liberty High School in 1952. He worked at Whirlpool in Clyde for 5 years and then Bascom Elevator for 38 years. He was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel (previously St Andrew’s Liberty) and was a 60 year member of the choir.

He enjoyed Sunday night cards with friends, family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and hosting parties at their family pond where he could fish and visit with friends. The grandkids and great grandchildren all have fond memories of the story that grandpa used to tell them when they would ask him to tell a story. It went like this “One dark and stormy night three robbers were sitting on a log and one said Jack tell me a story and so Jack began… One dark and stormy night three robbers were sitting on a log and one said Jack tell me a story” and on and on it went as the kids yelled not that story grandpa and grandpa laughed.

His Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, March 18, 2024 at All Saints Parish with Rev. Gary Walters officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery, Liberty Township.
