Dearest Brenda and Family, I am very sorry for your loss. Denny was always there with an ear for me and possibly saved my life when he sent me to Cleveland Clinic. You guys were very good to me and I will always remember you as Family. I wish I could be there today, but of course the miles are to far. I will see you again someday, but until then, you are always in my heart and thoughts. God Bless you always. Love you and miss you.

For Brenda and your family,
I'm so sorry to learn of Denny's passing. I'm only now learning of all his many interests and how he contributed to the communities he was, and will remain, a part of. What I knew of Denny was his hard work, the love he had for all his family as he told me stories, and his kind interest when he said hello. He saw people. That counts so much in life. May you feel God's comfort each hour of each day and always feel His love.

Words seem inadequate at this time, Brenda! I never got to know Denny, except for meeting him at our most recent class reunion, and we hit it off like we'd been friends for years! I hope this reflects the kind of person I only met briefly, but you've had the privilege to love most of your life! My prayers are with you and family for God to help you through this!

Heaven has gained another great person too soon. I had the great honor of working with Denny when he was opening his store in Sycamore. I worked for the town at the time and every time we would check on his "needs" he would always have me taste test a new treat. Great man!! Mike Dryfuse
